Cracking Medical Entrance Exams is not Easy At All

It is a much known fact that medical entrance examinations are very hard to crack. One requires too much of attentiveness, very deep analysis of the theory as well as the practical work, to prepare for any entrance exam for medical. To crack these touch cracks, one must first analyze his or her weaknesses and strengths and then focus on them strategically to work in a better direction. Tuitions, classroom coaching classes, coaching materials, online tutorials, online study materials, mock examinations, both online and offline, and many more ways are there to get glued to the medical world of knowledge and then pass the exams with flying colors. When a student achieves the dreamt – of MBBS seat after all the hard work, there is always a euphoria of being ‘above the air’, especially within India. It is considered as an enormous huddle in which the victorious has outrun a good percentage of the entire population, and it indeed is so.

Even after one has cracked the preliminary entrance exam for medical, and has studied for some time, there is still more to fight for.  What they dream next of, is to know the best combination of topics to learn and the best modes of practice, to clear the PG medical entrance exam and then get into a course of their choice.

There are certain books exclusively designed for the AIIMS PG entrance exams, also referred to as the AIPGE exams. Apart from the general offline bookstores one can physically go and survey books in, there are online book stores which have a very commendable set of books and even better set of discounts available. But even after this, one has the option of attending book fairs, where they get international and national authors’ works and they can get hold of some books which they would not even get at the library or online bookstores. Top medical books’ publishers like Elsevier have a good series of books available for the MBBS students who are working hard day in and day out to get through the difficult PG medical entrance exam.

The prestige that comes along with cracking the most difficult set of entrance exams, and finally getting admission for an MBBS course, is incomparable to any other form of feeling of pride. It is very difficult to slog and not give up being bored and tired of studying though. One trick can be used to help the students better. The students can integrate their subjects while they are studying and preparing for their entrance exams for medical or PG in medical. For a case in point, an MBBS student who is studying a particular topic in Microbiology can pick up the special pathogenesis in Pathology from the popular Pathology books and understand the most suitable drugs used in Pharmacy in turn!
